Pedal Idea

I saw a girl riding through the San Francisco streets this morning. She had a really stylish guacamole-green single speed bike. I noticed that she had a toe-clip and strap setup on the right pedal, but just a plain platform pedal on the left side.

I started thinking, "Hey, I get that! I always take my left foot out at lights but keep my right foot in. I'll bet that's a great idea! I'll have to give it a try."

At the next light I stopped next to her and asked her about it. I felt a little deflated when she told me that someone had stolen her clip and strap off her left pedal, and that she really hated it.

Well, there goes that cool idea. I might give it a try anyway. Who knows, maybe it'll actually work.
